Stryker was BEYOND excited to go to Border Bash this year and meet... COCKY! Friday afternoon we drove up to Aiken, picked up Nana & Poppa and headed over to Augusta Common for the yearly event!
First things first, we had to stop at the Hooter's tent for Stryker to practice his spiral! What a good looking lad in his jersey... Even if it's USC ;)
Nice form!
After playing some football, checking out the vendors and grabbing some food, we headed back to stake our claim in front of the stage. We listened to the band, ate, people watched then... There he was! COCKY! I grabbed my camera and Dan grabbed Stryker so we could say hello!
At first, Stryker was a little standoff-ish....
But pretty soon Cocky & him were Best Buds!
We headed back to our seats and finished our dinner. Stryker was intrigued with the UGA cheerleaders and watched as they mingled around us.
And I, of course, took the opportunity to take some super cute pictures!
LOVE this! He doesn't even know they're there!
Soon, it was time for the pep rally portion of the show to start. UGA cheerleaders and Hairy took the stage first..
And then the USC squad and Cocky made their way on stage..
We ended the night fairly early because one little one was ready to G-O! What a great tradition this has been to enjoy with Nana & Poppa! The Gehlken's are all smiles!
